Asset – Refers to whatever company item is being tracked via the Troverlo technology. Each Asset, if assigned, will report back unique data specific to its location and environment.
Tag – The Troverlo tracking device attached to or embedded in the company Asset.
Observation - An observation is when an Asset Tag is detected, and its data is recorded in the cloud. Observations can be passive or they can be active (purposeful) events.
Group – Refers to a "label" assigned to certain groups of Assets by a company user. Groups are useful for a company to organize Assets within a company that shares a common characteristic. For example, ABC company tracks 100 Assets (60 cars and 40 bikes). 60 of the Assets are categorized under the “Autos” category and 40 Assets are tracked under the “bicycle” category. Multiple groups can be assigned to an Asset.
Platform User – refers to a user within a company who utilizes the Troverlo Web Platform. This user will have a company-wide management capability for all company assets.
App User – refers to a user within a company who utilized the Troverlo Mobile app. This user will only be able to view/manage an Asset that was created or assigned by their specific app credentials.
